Position Summary

The Housekeeping Public Space Associate plays a key role in creating an exceptional guest experience by maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of the resort's public spaces. This position is responsible for ensuring guests enjoy spotless and welcoming common areas, including bathhouses, laundry facilities, clubhouse, offices, retail store, and other shared amenities throughout the resort.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Guest Experience
  • Create a welcoming environment by ensuring resort facilities are clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest questions, requests, and concerns.
  • Take pride in maintaining a positive first impression throughout the resort.
Cleaning & Public Space Maintenance
  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain all public areas including bathhouses, restrooms, laundry facilities, clubhouse, offices, retail store, and other common areas.
  • Perform sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, disinfecting, polishing, buffing, and washing of surfaces as needed.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, fixtures, and glass surfaces to ensure a polished appearance.
  • Monitor public spaces throughout the day and address cleanliness needs proactively.
  • Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
  • Report maintenance concerns, repairs, or safety issues to the Manager on Duty.
Laundry Operations
  • Launder linens, towels, blankets, and other soft goods used throughout vacation rentals and resort facilities.
  • Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain organized linen and supply storage areas.
Safety & Compliance
  • Follow all safety procedures and company standards regarding cleaning practices and chemical handling.
  • Properly use and store cleaning products, equipment, and supplies.
  • Place caution signs in work areas to ensure guest and associate safety and remove them when appropriate.
  • Immediately report unsafe conditions, accidents, incidents, or defective equipment.
Team Support
  • Assist with housekeeping duties in vacation rentals and accommodations during peak occupancy periods or business needs.
  • Help maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the resort grounds and facilities.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, hospitality, or cleaning experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Friendly, positive attitude with a guest-service mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the workday.
  • Ability to safely work with cleaning chemicals and equipment.
