Job Summary/Description:  

This is a rare opportunity to join the leadership team at the dominant #1 local news station in Las Vegas. FOX5, KVVU, is accepting applications now for a second Assistant News Director.

FOX5 has grown to 16 hours of local content daily. We need a second assistant news director with primary responsibility for executing coverage on air and online, and teaching/growing our team of producers (local and remote) and EPs.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Candidates will have significant experience as an Executive Producer, Assistant News Director, or News Director in a professional broadcast news outlet.
- This is a position for a veteran with a background in producing, leading, and teaching a team of producers and Executive Producers.
- Candidates must be able to clearly demonstrate their ability and track record of outstanding newscast production, innovation, executing a vision, and leadership/mentorship.
