What are hipsters?

Hipsters are individuals who are part of a cultural movement known for valuing independent thinking, counter-culture, progressive politics, and an appreciation for art, indie music, and non-mainstream fashion. The term 'hipster' has evolved over time, but today it typically refers to people who seek to set themselves apart from mainstream trends by embracing vintage styles, artisanal goods, and alternative lifestyles. Hipsters are often associated with urban environments, especially neighborhoods that are known for their creativity and diversity. Their interests can range from sustainable living and craft coffee to supporting local artists and businesses.
