Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Licensed Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry, complemented by specialized expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and prosthodontics. This role offers an opportunity to deliver comprehensive patient care in a collaborative environment, utilizing advanced dental technologies and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence. The Licensed Associate Dentist will be instrumental in promoting optimal oral health outcomes while fostering positive patient relationships and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.


Duties

  • Provide comprehensive dental care including examinations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and restorative procedures for patients of all ages.

  • Perform dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.

  • Utilize dental imaging technology and interpret medical imaging results to inform treatment decisions.

  • Maintain accurate medical and dental records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols.

  • Collaborate with team members to develop individualized treatment plans that address patient needs and preferences.

  • Ensure infection control protocols are rigorously followed to maintain a safe clinical environment.

  • Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions using clear dental terminology.

  • Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and other specialties to provide innovative care solutions.


Skills

  • Proficiency in dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or equivalent systems.

  • Extensive knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dental procedures.

  • Experience with pediatric dentistry, including managing young patients comfortably and effectively.

  • Skilled in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and other complex procedures.

  • Strong patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and deliver compassionate treatment.

  • Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice.

  • Ability to interpret medical imaging accurately and apply findings to clinical decision-making.

  • Knowledge of medical records management and compliance with HIPAA regulations for confidentiality.
