About the Role

Are you energetic, reliable, and passionate about working with kids? Do you love dance, sports, and staying active? If so, we want you on our team!

As a Youth Hip Hop Dance & Fitness Coach for Amazing Athletes of North Baltimore/Harford, you will be the highlight of a child's week. We are launching our brand-new hip hop dance curriculum alongside our premier youth sports programs. You will be responsible for leading high-energy, fun, and structured classes for preschool and early elementary-aged children.

Whether you are looking for a few hours a week, mornings only, afternoons only, or a flexible part-time schedule that fits around school or another job-we will work with your schedule!

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
  • Lead & Inspire: Teach our structured, high-energy Hip Hop Dance curriculum and Amazing Athletes sports programs to children aged 2.5 to 8.
  • Create Fun Environments: Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that build confidence, creativity, and a love of movement.
  • Manage the Crowd: Keep young children focused, safe, and excited using positive reinforcement and creative behavior management.
  • Build Relationships: Act as a positive role model for students and maintain a friendly, professional relationship with parents and school staff.
  • Travel Locally: Commute to local preschools, daycare centers, and community facilities within our territory to run sessions.
What We're Looking For (Requirements)
  • The Energy: Vibrant, enthusiastic, and a patient personality-you know how to match a child's energy and keep them engaged!
  • The Experience: Prior experience working with young children (coaching, teaching, camp counseling, babysitting) is highly preferred.
  • The Movement: A background in dance (specifically hip hop), cheer, gymnastics, or youth sports is a major plus, but a willingness to learn our curriculum is key.
  • The Logistics: * Must have reliable transportation to travel between local class locations.
    • Must be able to pass a background check and fingerprinting.
    • Must be 18 years of age or older.
