As a Hindi teacher, your job is to teach students how to speak, write, and read fluent Hindi. This often involves managing a bilingual classroom since most students in this country are learning Hindi as their second language instead of their first. From there, many of the aspects of this job depend on the age and experience of your students. Hindi teachers can work at any level from early childhood education to college-level courses, though most work in higher education outside of areas with a particularly high population of Hindi-speaking residents. As with most teacher roles, you may also be asked to participate in other school functions and activities as needed.
