Job Description:
A.DOCUMENT PREP
1.Identify and ensure correct patient identifiers (Medical Record Number - MRN), Encounter Number, and patient name, throughout the documents.
2.Remove any incorrectly labeled documents from the chart.
B.SCAN
1.Ensure all documents in Media Manager are labeled correctly with correct patient identifiers and scan any loose documents into patient charts.
2.Scan any documents that are missing from Media Manager.
C.ROI:
1.Responsible for answering phones, checking fax machine and handling walk-in patient requests, entering medical record requests in Epic and releasing requests in a timely manner.
2.Communicates with requestors to obtain as much information required to ensure accurate release of information.
