Job description

Client: Froedtert Health
Title: HIM Document Imaging Tech
Req #: 37359315
Location: 110 Lone Oak Lane, Hartford, WI 53027 (CP-Hartford Health Center)
Duration: 3 months contract (potential temp to perm)
Shift: M-Fri 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week

Job Summary (List Format):
- Provides support for the enterprise electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Ensures all inpatient and ambulatory records are accurately prepped, scanned, and indexed into the EHR.
- Meets turnaround times, quality, and performance standards for medical record processing.
- Performs quality checks on clinical documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Properly cleans, maintains, and troubleshoots scanning equipment.
- Adheres to HIPAA, state, and federal patient privacy guidelines.
- Provides weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled.
- Assists with quality assurance audits and destruction of paper records per policy.
- Communicates effectively with clinical staff to resolve scanning and documentation issues.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
