This role requires a strategic thinker with strongdeliveryand communication skills, as well as in-depth knowledge ofproductsecurity protocols, technologies, and standards.
What you'll be doing
The primary responsibilities for our next Director of Information Security will be to:
- Act as Product Business Information security officerforFieldwireÂ
- Develop,ownand implementFieldwireproduct security improvement plan.Â
- Identifyand assess product security risks and threats.Â
- Collaborate withFieldwiremanagementto integrate security measures intothe SW product andbusiness processes.Â
- Report tomanagement on security incidents and measures.Â
- Support the Head of Construction SW Security & GRCin all aspects of cyber securityÂ
- Work closely with other Information Security Officers within Hilti, the Group CISO.Â
- Analyzeregulatory and legal developments (e.g., NIST, CRA, NIS2, EU AI data act), translate these into actionable requirements, and oversee their implementation.Â
- Independently manage business projects related to information and product security, from requirements to implementation.Â
- Take responsibility for specific security topics such as Cloud & AI Security or technical risk analysis withinFieldwire.Â
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the security architecture, the ICS, and the ICT & cyber risk management forFieldwire.Â
- Own and maintainFieldwireSOC2 certification and support Group ISO27001 certificationÂ
- Coordinate internal and external audits in the field of informationand productsecurity and support the implementation of the resulting measures.
At Fieldwire, we're looking for our next Director of Information Security to have the following skills and experiences
- Bachelor's or master'sdegree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Security, Cybersecurity, ora relatedfield.Â
- Several years of experiencein asecurityofficer rolein SW/IT security.Â
- Multiple years of experience inproduct/SWsecurityÂ
- In-depth knowledge of security protocols, technologies, and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST).Â
- Experience in developing and implementing security programs.Â
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent areadvantageous.Â
- Proficiencyin security frameworks, risk management, incident response, and security architecture.Â
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.Â
- Demonstrate assertiveness.Â
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Â
- Capacity to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment. Commitment tostayingupdated on the latest security trends and technologies.Â
- High levelof integrity and ethical standards. Commitment to protecting the Construction SW's information assets.

Compensation:
The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows: $220,000 - $300,000
The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors such as your skills, qualifications and experience. In addition to the salary, you may be eligible for a corporate bonus which can range up to 30%.

Where is the job located?
This role is hybrid and based in San Francisco, California. Our headquarters are based in beautiful San Francisco and our office is centrally located right off of Embarcadero Bart station.
