About the Employer
The Hart-Ransom Union School District is located in an agricultural community just west of Highway 99 in Modesto, CA. The District is made up of a TK-8 elementary school that serves 715 students and a TK-12 charter school that serves 595 students. The Hart-Ransom District has 100 employees, and is one of the highest-paying school districts in Stanislaus County. HRUSD has a long-standing history of academic excellence that continues today, and many parents who live in other districts choose to enroll their children in our schools. Hart-Ransom has active music and athletics programs, and enjoys high levels of community support and involvement. More than anything else, what makes Hart-Ransom so special is the wonderful staff of dedicated and hard-working employees who invest deeply in the lives of children every day. Job Summary
Operates point-of-service computer software; processes paperwork, maintains records, and produces reports; verifies qualification for school lunch programs; assists kitchen staff with food handling and preparation; serves students in grades TK-8.
Shift times: 7:15-9:00 and 10:45-1:00 (school days)
4 hours per day

Previous school cafeteria experience desirable
Previous experience in an educational/school environment is preferred
Applicants are required to pass DOJ and FBI fingerprinting as a condition of employment
Mandated Reporter Training must be completed as a condition of employment
Current TB clearance is required as a condition of employment
ServSafe food handler certification required
ServSafe Manager certification desirable
