Job description

A Snapshot of Your Day
Your daily activities as a HV Production Tester, will include reading engineering documentation, testing electrical equipment, and working with your colleagues to tackle problems as they arise. If you enjoy a fast-paced production environment, being challenged, understand that every customer and every drawing is different, and where every day is different, then this is a great opportunity for you! We provide training starting on the 1st day for 90 days to ensure you're off to a strong start!
How You'll Make an Impact
• Responsible for troubleshooting circuitry designs.
• We work closely with Engineering Dept. to ensure all aspects of product are viable and ensure all test requirements are fulfilled.
• We pay strong attention to detail in time constraint in manufacturing production environment.
• We test the Product's electrical and mechanical functions.
• You will work both independently and as part of a team.
• Being open for improvement and always aiming to excel and learn will allow for growth.
What You Bring
• Must have an Associate's Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering; 2 years of work experience in electrical wiring/testing preferred OR must have a High School Diploma or GED plus 4 years of work experience in electrical wiring/testing is required.
• Ability to read and interpret Electrical drawings, AC/DC circuits, and physical wiring is required.
• Must be safety conscious and aware of surroundings when in the testing area.
• Must be familiar with Electrical testing equipment, meters, hi-potential ground tester, and current transformer testing.
• Some experience with High Voltage Testing is a plus.
• Must be flexible for OT and weekends as needed.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
