Job description

BioMechanic Physical Therapy is looking for a part-time Physical Therapist to add to our Virginia Beach team. We are a 100% physical therapist-owned with a unique focus on biomechanics, creative problem-solving, skilled manual therapy, and use of the latest high tech and proven technologies. Access to high tech modalities include Class IV multi wavelength laser, Shockwave, Graston, cupping, automated ultrasound, electrical acupuncture (ETPS), dry needling with intramuscular e-stim, vagal nerve stimulators and more. We have a small clinic that focuses on time with patients, lending itself well if you are a new grad interested in mentorship opportunities, or an experienced practitioner looking to contribute your experience to a range of patients from which you can choose. This is currently a part time position but can progress gradually to full time.  Full time benefits begins at 32 hours per week as we believe in the importance of work-life balance. In this light, we also are very flexible with time off requests and schedule changes.  We offer ample growth opportunities into management, a 401k match, and continuing education. Contact us today to join BioMechanic PT as a Physical Therapist in Virginia Beach, VA only 5 blocks from the BEACH!  We are looking for passionate professionals to deliver personalized care.
The hours desired for this part-time position are flexible but should cover either early mornings (7am) or evenings (closing at 6:30 pm) or any combination of both.  Schedule can be any days Monday - Friday. Tuesday would be open for any hours as we only have one therapist working that day currently.  This position is for a PT as we already have one (highly skilled) PTA on staff and need more evaluation slots.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Current State Physical Therapy License
    • Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
    • Sincere passion for patient care
    • Intellectually and thoughtfully adapt plan of care as needed

  • The therapists at BioMechanic Physical Therapy all believe in treating the source of the pain and the symptoms, not just the symptoms. Many physicians in the area know and trust us with their patients and expect a certain type of knowledge and care. We believe that high quality physical therapy is the most important thing for our patients. If this speaks to you, we look forward to your submission to this ad.  Or you may contact Lisa Allen, DPT & owner at Lisa@BioMechanicPhysicalTherapy.com or call 757-917-7857.  I know some of you experienced therapists who have been at a stable position for years may not have a resume.  I am happy to chat with you and answer your questions.
  • About Us:
BioMechanic PHYSICAL THERAPY has been serving the Virginia Beach community for almost 10 years and the Northern Virginia area for over 20 years, providing hands on AND high tech rehabilitation services. Our team is committed to fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, making us a preferred choice for both patients and employees alike.
