A High Risk job refers to an occupation that involves significant danger or potential for harm due to hazardous conditions, tasks, or environments. These jobs often require specialized training, safety protocols, and protective equipment to mitigate risks. Examples include construction work, firefighting, law enforcement, and jobs involving hazardous materials. Employers in these industries must follow strict safety regulations to ensure worker protection.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the high risk position, and why are they important?

To thrive in a High Risk role, such as a High Risk Analyst in the financial or insurance sectors, you generally need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a background in finance, economics, or a related field. Familiarity with risk assessment software, compliance tools, and certifications like CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or FRM (Financial Risk Manager) are commonly required. Excellent problem-solving abilities, ethical judgment, and effective communication are standout soft skills. These qualifications are essential to detect, evaluate, and mitigate risks while ensuring organizational compliance and protecting assets.

What jobs are considered high risk?

High-risk jobs include roles such as construction workers, firefighters, miners, and oil rig workers, which involve exposure to dangerous environments, heavy machinery, or hazardous materials. These jobs often require specialized safety training, protective gear, and adherence to strict safety protocols to mitigate risks.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals working in high risk positions?

Professionals in High Risk roles often face the challenge of staying updated with rapidly changing regulations and identifying evolving threats or vulnerabilities. Balancing thorough risk assessments with fast-paced business demands can also be demanding, as timely yet accurate decisions are critical. Job description

Large well-established and well-respected Single Specialty OBGYN group practice in Palm Beach County FL with over 150 employees and over 30 OBGYN physicians, 3 MFM, Uro/Gyn, GYN/ONC, and Repro/Endo physicians is looking to add OBGYN physicians and MFM to their group They are looking for an OBGYN generalist and or hospitalist physician or hybrid.

Laborist/Hybrid would do 6 24-hour in-house calls monthly with post-call day off and up to 3 office days weekly doing a mix of OB and GYN surgery.  There are 10 OBGYN physicians and 2 mid-level providers in this location. They do 12-15 deliveries each month and have a nice work-life balance. This is a FT position involving OB and GYN and the physician will have allotted surgery time as well.

They are also looking to add a FT generalist and a FT MFM physician to their group and these physicians will work out of offices in PBC.

The generalist will work out of 1-2 offices, and 1 hospital where they will take call.  They will get exposure to a good mix of OB and GYN and enjoy plenty of mentoring while scrubbing with other physicians.  When on call the physician is at the hospital, not seeing patients in the office. This growth position offers full benefits, high earning potential, exposure to high-risk OB and complicated GYN procedures, and mentoring.  Their offices are state of the art and this thriving practice is the biggest and most popular in PBC.

The MFM position involves working with 3 other BC MFMs who cover the groupโ€™s high-risk patients.  They see patients with multiples, a history of preterm labor, or those with genetic disorders.   They offer genetic testing, amnios, high-definition US (3D/4D), and have pediatric subspecialty support through the Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Center.  They work out of 2 hospitals, both with level 3 NICUs.

Practice provides a competitive salary and benefits and a great quality of life work schedule in beautiful sunny Palm Beach County!

Enjoy being part of this busy and well-established OBGYN group that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, vacation, CME time, health, 401K, and productivity which can only increase earning potential.
