A well-established general contractor specializing in hotels and commercial office construction is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to support their active ground-up builds across Arizona and surrounding areas.

These projects range from $10M–$30M and 25,000–150,000 sq. ft., including mid-rise structures up to 10 stories.

Position Overview

This role is responsible for full on-site construction execution — including site logistics, safety, trade coordination, quality control, and communication with ownership and design partners.

We’re looking for a hands-on superintendent who brings a "tape-on-belt" mentality, strong field leadership, and deep understanding of commercial construction and high-end finishes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all on-site c /equipment procurement and deliveries
  • Maintain quality standards, trade sequencing, inspections, and punch lists
  • Coordinate material and equipment procurement and deliveries
  • Maintain documentation (daily reports, manpower logs, safety compliance, testing results)
  • Collaborate with owners and design partners to resolve issues efficiently
  • Manage schedule execution with 3-week look-ahead planning

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience as a Project Superintendent in a ground-up commercial construction (hotel and/or office preferred)
  • Strong knowledge across all 16 CSI divisions
  • Experience managing site logistics, safety, building envelope, MEPS, and vertical construction
  • Ability to lead subcontractors and vendors while maintaining schedule, budget, and safety standards
  • Proficiency with reporting, scheduling, and quality control processes
  • Solid communication and client-facing skills — able to lead weekly OAC meetings
  • OSHA 30 certification (required)
  • Ability to read and interpret full plan sets (structural, architectural, civil, interior design, and MEP) and ensure trade compliance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Microsoft Office and MS Project
  • Site safety certifications or willingness to obtain (company supported)
  • The ability to travel as needed

Compensation & Benefits

  • $100K–$150K base salary, depending on experience
  • Health, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Paid time off
  • Long-term growth opportunities

Why Join

This is an opportunity to join a stable, growing construction team that values craftsmanship, accountability, and long-term career development.
