High Profile Armed Security Officer- Full Time

Job Title: High Profile Armed Security Officer

Shift: Fri-Sat (3PM-11PM) & Sun-Mon (11PM-7AM)

Pay Range: $22.00/hr

Site Overview:

This Site is open 24/7 365. It is a unique site due to the diverse demographic of both patrons and employees who come to the site. This site also hosts a multitude of events including raffle style Give Aways, Christmas Lights, Carnivals, and many more.

Required Qualifications:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have at least 3 years of license security experience and/or law enforcement/military experience.
  • Must have a Valid, not expired, ARMED ASRB license.
  • Have no felony convictions, no convictions for misdemeanors involving moral turpitude (verified by a fingerprint based criminal background check).
  • May be asked to provide character references, a credit history, and a clean MVR when applicable.
  • Be able to verify/explain all gaps in employment and not have been terminated from previous employment for other than honorable circumstances.
  • Must be able to perform the duties assigned including long foot patrols and periods of lengthy standing.
  • Have a telephone or other reliable means of communication.
  • Have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
  • Have a high school education or suitable equivalent.
  • Be literate in the English language and be able to read and understand written orders and instructions, complete standard forms and logs and compose reports that convey complete information.
  • Complete required “Behavior Assessment”.
  • Complete required "Security training" and pass a comprehensive written exam.
  • Complete required "Armed Security Training" and pass qualification courses (Company provided training)

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine patrols in and around designated areas to help ensure the safety of patrons and client assets.
  • Perform escorts for high profile patrons, employees, and/or money transfers within the site.
  • Maintain precise and detailed logs documenting activities, incidents, and notable observations, facilitating comprehensive reporting and analysis for enhanced security measures.
  • Must have basic computer experience and the ability to use a tablet to conduct security reports.
  • Enforce security procedures in the relevant Security Post Instruction.
  • Execute routine tasks with proficiency, such as securely locking and unlocking doors, activating, and deactivating security systems, and diligently monitoring surveillance feeds for signs of potential threats or breaches.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and other incidents, utilizing appropriate actions and established protocols.
  • Always look professional in a clean and pressed uniform.
  •  Informs and ensures compliance of SEI and Clients policies, such as smoking, loitering, parking violations, etc.
  • The ability to remain calm, solve problems, and act effectively in a critical situation.
  • Provide excellent customer service, assisting and addressing the concerns of visitors and employees.
