Job Details
Union Security Officers Needed
Part-Time shift available
Friday & Saturday 7am-3pm
Friday & Saturday 11pm-7am
Pay: $18.60/hour
Job Summary: USI is seeking high level security officers for a commercial campus. This is a union role, and officers hired must enroll in the union. Job duties may include:
  • Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points.
  • Investigate & report security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior
  • Maintains the organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
  • Perform daily activity reports and incident reports when necessary.
  • Projects a positive image in dress and decorum.
  • Identify leaks and spills, inspect doors and locks on site to prevent potential hazards
  • Provide a high level of customer service to client and all client employees and visitors
  • Security Officers familiar with Active Tours/Patrol preferred

WEEKEND AVAILABILITY REQUIRED
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • MUST have at 1 year security experience
  • Exceptional Customer Service
  • Speak clearly and concisely
  • Ability to keep a neat and organized workstation
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • CPR Required
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to conduct foot patrols frequently

Skill Requirements:
  • Position requires excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Must have experience in providing detailed incident reports.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to be a team player and work in a team environment.
  • Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards.
  • Must be able to multi-task and self-manage in a fast-pace, dynamic environment
