Job description

Unarmed Security Officer

Do you thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy exceptional service while keeping people and property safe? We're looking for an unarmed security officer to oversee the security and order of buildings, grounds, and property at Helion. You will patrol assigned areas examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are adequately secured. This position reports directly to our Security Supervisor at our Everett, WA headquarters. You will:

  • Patrol and monitor properties to ensure safety and security
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences through positive interactions with guests and employees
  • Enforce site-specific directives with consistency and professionalism
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and first responders to address incidents effectively
  • Maintain high visibility and attentiveness to details

Required skills include:

  • 3+ years of high-level security experience
  • Experience with security-related technology, including access control and CCTV systems
  • Strong communication with guests and employees
  • Ability to participate in regular physical activity, including standing, walking, and climbing stairs and inclines
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
  • Stand or walk on different surfaces for up to 12 hours at a time
  • Ability to support a 12-hour work schedule from 5am to 5pm or 5pm to 5am
