Nursing Instructor (LPN, CNA, HHA) Per Diem
The individual will be responsible for instructing and evaluating students in a lab, clinical, and/or classroom settings for the Practical Nursing (LPN), Nursing Assistant (CNA), and/or Home Health Aide (HHA) programs. The students will be instructed within the approved curriculum pertaining to the particular program being taught.Current nursing skills and computer competency are required. Regular attendance and dependability are required. Other responsibilities may be assigned. The assignment is subject to change.
Salary: $36.60 per hour.
Eligibility requirements:
  • NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • The individual must have or be eligible for appropriate teaching certification upon hire. It is anticipated that an individual would qualify for certification with successful completion of fingerprinting and three workshops.

Additional eligibility requirements vary by program:
  • LPN: Bachelor's degree in nursing or actively in pursuit of
  • CNA: Minimum of Associate's degree in nursing with at least two years of RN experience, one of which must be in a nursing home
  • HHA: Minimum of Associate's degree in nursing with at least two years of RN experience, one of which must be in a licensed home care agency.
