Job Description
Job Title: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular
Profession: Radiology / Cardiology
Specialty: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular

Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (07:00 - 15:30)
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience
License: License required
Certifications: BLS, CCI RCS, CCI RVS, RDCS, RDCS - RVT
Must-Have:
- Both echo and vascular registries
- Experience in both echo and vascular imaging
Description:
The position requires expertise in 3-D Echo, Adult Acute Care, and Adult Outpatient imaging.
Candidates should be familiar with Bubble Studies and Emergency Department procedures.
Experience with GE systems and the ICU is preferred.
The role includes obtaining 12 lead EKG/ECG and performing pharmacologic stress echo.
Candidates should be comfortable with portable studies and procedures on patients in ICU/ED settings.
Familiarity with Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) and Treadmill Stress Echo is necessary.
Applicants should demonstrate the ability to work with varied weekend call coverage.
BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
Familiarity with charting systems such as Allscripts is preferred.
Travel experience is advantageous.
Compliance with mandatory drug screening is required.
Candidates should avoid any products that could result in a positive drug screening.
This position is not open to local applicants within designated radius guidelines.
