CompHealth is seeking a dedicated Hematology/Oncology physician for an ongoing assignment focusing on hematology. This role involves managing acute leukemic, inpatient chemo, and transplant patients, with required bone marrow biopsies. The position offers a Monday-Friday schedule with weekly hospital call and daily rounding, providing an opportunity to work in an inpatient and clinic setting.

Practice Info

  • Inpatient and clinic hematology/oncology setting
  • Hematology focus, no medical oncology

Responsibilities

  • Perform bone marrow biopsies
  • Manage acute leukemic patients
  • Manage inpatient chemo patients
  • Manage transplant patients
  • Daily rounding Monday - Sunday, 1 - 2 hours

Compensation

  • We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly

Benefits

  • We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage

Shift & Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm with 1:4 weekly hospital call
  • 15 patients per shift
  • Daily rounding Monday - Sunday, 1 - 2 hours

Requirements

  • Post Autologous Stem Cell Transplant experience needed
  • CAR-T cell therapy experience needed
