Overview:

Our client is seeking a dependable Help Desk Technician to join their IT team in a customer-focused support role. This position is ideal for someone looking to grow their IT career while gaining hands-on experience with desktop support, account administration, hardware deployments, and end-user troubleshooting. Reliability, punctuality, and a strong customer service mindset are just as important as technical skills, making this an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn and develop within a collaborative IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and end-user issues

• Respond to help desk tickets, phone calls, emails, and walk-up support requests

• Reset passwords and manage user accounts through Active Directory or similar tools

• Configure, image, deploy, and replace desktop and laptop computers

• Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and common desktop issues

• Document incidents, resolutions, and updates within the ticketing system

• Escalate complex technical issues to senior support staff when appropriate

• Assist with large-scale computer deployments and hardware refresh initiatives

• Deliver excellent customer service while supporting employees across the organization

• Maintain a dependable onsite presence and support early morning service desk operations

Preferred Experience:

• Previous Help Desk, IT Support, Desktop Support, or Call Center experience preferred

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Experience supporting Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 environments

• Familiarity with Active Directory account administration and password resets

• Experience with hardware setup, imaging, and workstation deployments

• CompTIA A+ certification is a plus but not required

• Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting methodologies

• Desire to grow within Information Technology and expand technical skills
