Job description

Description:

Basic computer skills

• Supports our company's machinist manufacturing department with various duties.

• Clean and wash parts as needed for inspection.

• Clear chip hopper as needed.

• Clean and set up tools as needed.

• Will operate band saw, overhead crane and forklift as needed.

• Material handling.

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, stooping and bending is required.

• Other duties as assigned by management   

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

• Must be authorized to work in the United States

• Previous machinist helper experience desired

• Forklift certification

• Overhead crane experience

• Good oral communication skills

• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds

Work Environment

• Regular exposure to moving mechanical components, airborne fumes, and particles

• Exposure to heat, cold, wet and snow conditions

• Moderate to loud noise levels
