Job Responsibilities:

The Principal System Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and integrating complex real-time automotive systems focusing on high-performance computing systems-on-chip.

Your Responsibilities

  • Expert in System hardware and software architecture focusing on high-performance computing systems-on-chip (SoC).
  • Expert in high-speed communication pipelines like Multi-Gig Ethernet, PCIe, LPDDR4/5
  • Experts in sensor selection & system Integration architecture for ADAS systems.
  • Proficient in System (Hardware, Software) documentation architecture and requirements.
  • Expert in Architecture optimization to apply cost-effective solutions with improved performance design.
  • Architecture Experience in implementing safety and security mechanisms to meet ISO 26262 and ISO 21434.
  • Expertise in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Fault Tree (FTA) techniques for systems and components.
  • In-depth understanding of vehicle feature interactions, including Automated Driving, Infotainment, and Mechatronic Control Systems.
  • Expertise in integrating, troubleshooting, and analyzing vehicle control sub-systems to deliver next-generation fail-operational systems.
  • Collaborating with hardware, software engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless hardware and software integration into the overall product.
  • Expert in communication and negotiation with customers and suppliers.

Who we are looking for

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or demonstrated equivalent skills (Master's preferred)

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years deep and relevant experience in the System hardware and software architecture.
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in high-performance computing systems-on-chip.
  • Proven track record of successful launches of automotive products

Your preferred qualifications

  • Deep and comprehensive knowledge of product development engineering practices in automotive field
  • Deep knowledge of the automotive software development process, experience with SOC a plus
  • Demonstrated decision making capability with a strong technical background
  • Hands on approach when required
  • Strong technical background. Understands needs of systems, optics, electrical, mechanical and software engineers for successful product execution
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of configuration management, project planning, monitoring and control techniques (PMP certification a plus)
  • Able to lead and motivate a diverse, global team
  • Able to represent technical topics internally and externally
  • Excellent communication skills to all internal and external interfaces
  • Travel (domestic and international) may be needed
  • Positive attitude and self-motivated under all working conditions (thrives under pressure)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office package
  • Comprehensive knowledge of English
