Job description

The Laborer will assist with general cleaning on the production line.

Responsibilities:

  • General housekeeping - keep a clean and safe area, including sweeping and mopping production floors and removing production trash
  • Pack Reily finished products into boxes for shipping
  • Shrink wrap pallets
  • Assist with changeovers, replace tape on packing lines and restock supplies
  • Assist with general tasks and learn equipment in other areas/workstations
  • Follow all safety procedures and actively participate in safety training and safety system ownership initiatives
  • Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and person; reports any injury, accident, or unsafe condition to supervisor immediately
  • Support and comply with GMP's; understand and follow emergency action plan
  • Support food safety, quality, and legality
  • Ensure the operation is providing food-safe, quality products which meet or exceed all product specifications and regulatory requirements
  • Other duties as assigned
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment focusing on cleanliness of the facility
  • Prior experience in manufacturing environment helpful
  • Willingness and desire to learn how to operate packing equipment
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds continuously throughout the day
