Job description

Principle Duties and Areas of Responsibility:

- Must be able to perform machine set-ups accurately and in a timely fashion

- Must be able to follow and understand production schedules and workflow

- Perform quality checks while running production

- Perform 1st piece inspection criteria, including, but not limited to, having double checks by Lead person and/or QA department.

- Uses proper inspection equipment, including, but not limited to, gauges, fixtures, etc.

- Complete set-up paperwork on each job performed

- Must be flexible and run production and/or work in different departments as needed

- Must be organized and need little supervision


Skills and Abilities:

- Welding experience helpful

- Basic mechanical ability

- Knowledge of correct usage of standard inspection equipment (tape measure, micrometer, caliper, height gauge, ect.)

- Ability to read and understand blueprints.

- Must be able to set up and run machine proficiently

- Must be able to prioritize daily responsibilities

- Must display good judgment, work well independently, and work well with others.

- Strong Quality work ethic is required.

- Must be self-motivated

- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. continuously

- Must be able to stand for 10+ hours a day.

- Basic computer skills and knowledge helpful.
