Job Description

Conagra Brands - Indianapolis, is looking to add to our production team to help us meet the demands of our customers across the country. You will work onsite at the Indianapolis, IN manufacturing plant on West 62nd St. and report to the production team lead. Machine operators safely operate equipment to produce quality product, clean equipment, and other tasks to support packaging and process areas.

You Will:
  • Safely operate, perform preventative maintenance, and perform corrective maintenance on plant machinery to exceed planned performance measures.

  • Perform quality checks as specified in procedures.

  • Partner with the line lead to determine opportunities for cross training.

  • Follow all training documents for job on assigned line.

  • Participate in cleaning processes.

  • Communicate with line lead and maintenance to ensure issues with assigned equipment are fixed promptly.

  • Follow and comply with all Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).

  • All other tasks or projects as assigned by the shift supervisor or the operations manager.

You Have:
  • Desire to work in food manufacturing environment.

  • Availability to work overtime; typically 4 hours before or after a shift.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb stairs, lift up to 50 pounds.
