Job description

Job Summary

We are also rewriting the book on eDiscovery and Information Governance.  Using cutting edge technology and defensible process, our eDiscovery team provides unparalleled support and capability across Textron.  We are looking for an aspiring IT professional with an interest in computer forensics, analytics, knowledge management, and/or user experience to join our dedicated team of technical and legal professionals and contribute to work that really matters.

As part of a collaborative team, you will gain deep insights into new ways of integrating technology, human relationships, automation, and digital processes to drive a next generation legal department. As an eDiscovery Analyst, you will: 
Handle all facets of importing and processing data, creating and maintaining databases, and preparing electronic document productions
Assist with identifying, preserving, collecting, and processing data across a large and technically diverse environment 
Develop effective database searches
Manage the technical administration of document reviews
Provide training to stakeholders on technical capabilities and best practices in the use of technology to support legal services
Help develop and monitor metrics and communicate with legal teams, senior management, and business units on project progress
Troubleshoot technical issues with incoming data and software applications
Participate in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of technology solutions
Serve as a subject matter expert on the eDiscovery tools and applications  

To ensure you are successful, this role includes: 
Training and certification pathways to become a Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE), Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS); Nuix Data Discovery Master Certification, and Nuix Forensic Practitioner Master Certification.
Expectation for continued education in the field of information technology, digital forensics, and litigation support. 
 

Here is what you will bring to the role: 
Minimum 2 years of work experience in a relevant technical or analytical field
Bachelor's degree preferred, with a minimum of 2 years of education in some of the following areas: computer science, information technology, social sciences, and other related fields
Eagerness to work in a mission critical, high visibility, enterprise role that supports every business at Textron
Interest in gaining experience with end-to-end eDiscovery toolsets, including preservation, collection, and review tools and automated workflows
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships 
Experience and success with working as part of a team 
Ability to problem solve and work independently in a dynamic environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Demonstrated ability to learn new technology and software systems and follow documented procedures.
Curiosity and desire to learn about new subject matters, such as eDiscovery techniques, processes, and software.
Interest in assisting with vendor identification and management, such as participating as requested in solicitation, review of vendor bids, and annual reviews.
Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
