988 Care Specialist
Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact? Join our team, where your expertise will directly contribute to programs that will make a lasting impact.
The 988 Care Specialists provide evidence-informed crisis intervention, suicide prevention, information & referral, and brief supportive listening to individuals who contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline in emotional distress, particularly those at high risk for suicidal and/or homicidal thoughts and behaviors. 988 Care Specialists interact with individuals over the phone, through SMS text messaging, and/or web chat
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED
Preferences: Bilingual; One (1) year experience in behavioral health/substance-use/disability service; An associate degree higher.
License/Certifications: Obtain American Association of Suicidology (AAS) Crisis Worker Certification
