U-Haul is looking for an organized, friendly, and motivated call center representative who can work out of our Phoenix officefull time!A Moving Help Phone Specialist supports customers in a high-volume call center environmentvia phone primarily, but also via chat and email if needed.This position entails helping customers book, edit, reschedule, and/or cancel Moving Help services, as wellasresolving customer concerns efficiently.To do well in this role, you need to be able to remain calm when customers are frustrated and have experience working with computers.This position is an in-person/in-office role which requires working at U-Haul's Midtown Campus corporate office at 2727 N. Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ.

Customer Support Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Communicating with customers through phone calls, chats, and emails.
  • Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
  • Processing, rebooking, andmodifyingorders.
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues andsupervisorsasnecessary.
  • Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to remain calm when customers are stressed or upset, while expressing sympathy,empathyand compassion
  • Intermediate keyboarding and computer skills
  • Ability to navigate and use multiple computer programs at once

U-Haul offers full time Moving Help Phone Specialists an hourly base pay of $16.00 when working in the office. Your base pay may increase as you learn andacquireadditionaljob duties, and merit increases are given periodically based on performance.

Scheduling Requirements:

The Moving Help team is available to assist customers from 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM via phone, and from 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM via chat.

  • FullTime (40 hours)
  • Shift 1:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday between6:00 AM -2:30 PM (Arizona time)
  • Shift 2:Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday between7:30 AM -4:00 PM (Arizona time)
  • Must be availableto workbothweekend daysper week
  • Initial Education/Training hours: Monday throughThursday from8:30 AM -5:00 PMand Friday from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM(Arizona time) for two weeksbeginning Monday 6/8.
  • Working holidaysisrequiredin order toprovide support for our customers year-round. You may be scheduled to meet the Team and business needs.

Physical Demands:

The work involves light physical exertion, including sitting forlong periods, focusing on a computer screen, and taking phone calls using a wired headset.
