Job description

Deal Desk Analyst I - Core Markets
Overview
The Deal Desk Analyst I - Core Markets position is a combination of strategist, analyst, and auditor with responsibility for managing the Conservice contracts and fees processes while identifying potential paths for optimizing revenue across our product offerings and processes. Deal Desk Analysts also oversee the process of collecting and organizing analytical data related to an organization's revenue, sales, and other financial activities. The position will coordinate and work closely with internal teams and occasionally clients by aiding in crafting new contracts, and making system updates for clients; as well as answering contract, fee, and other questions from clients or other Conservice team members as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the creation of new property, management, and product agreements to ensure accuracy across contracts and standard documentation practices when new properties are on-boarded or existing properties undergo a change in ownership/management
  • Manage the quoting process to ensure approved pricing, healthy margins, and alignment between invoicing capabilities and expectations
  • Capture data from new incoming contracts for future reporting and analysis
  • Monitor fee and product implementation and ensure ramp ups, increases, and renewals/renegotiations occur as contracted
  • Review documentation and fees for properties leaving setup
  • Address Fee Change Requests submitted from other Conservice team members
  • Maintain the Fee Screen/Fee Dashboard, including revenue share and allocation amounts
  • Manage correspondence for revenue and product fulfillment areas
  • Assist Deal Desk Analysts and Managers with regular and ad-hoc reporting as requested by the leadership team or Sales and Account Management
  • Implement and monitor revenue controls
  • Clearly communicate answers to contract, fee, and revenue questions to team members throughout the company and clients as needed
  • Partner with cross functional teams (Sales, Legal, Sales Ops, Finance, and/or AR) to ensure all fully executed agreements are properly booked and recognized in our systems to ensure accuracy in quarterly metrics

Qualifications
  • Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Takes ownership of situations/problems and works to resolve them to completion
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent follow-up and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous situations
  • Analytical and technological mindset
  • Proven track record of success in past positions
  • Driven to find the why behind issues and processes
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work under time constraints and deadlines.
  • Ability to set priorities, plan and organize information.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (2+ years related experience)
  • Experience with contracts, fees, and/or sales
  • Familiarity with Conservice systems and software (preferred)
  • Familiarity with SFDC, SQL, and/or PowerBI are a plus
  • Solid understanding of Conservice departments and services (preferred)
