Job description

An excellent opportunity with a leading international Hedge Fund is seeking an experienced Trade Operations Analyst to join their team in the heart of New York, NY, located in Midtown.

Responsibilities will include trade reconciliations and settlements for all fixed income products, reporting failed trades, setting up new accounts and brokers on confirmation and clearing systems, and reconciling cash and post settlements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Settlements for all fixed income products
  • Reporting failed trades
  • Setting up new accounts and brokers on confirmation and clearing systems
  • Reconciling cash and post settlements
  • Communicating, confirming, settling/funding and reconciling securities trades and allocations and working with traders, counterparties, clearing brokers, and clearinghouses
  • Heavily support high yield bonds, structured products and emerging markets
  • Hands on with Custodian Web Sites, Omgeo Alert, CTM & Oasys to manage the confirmation, allocation, and trade flow

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of OTC Derivatives is preferred
  • Knowledge of Advent Geneva is required
  • 1-3 years of trade support or relevant experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • An understanding of product knowledge and fixed income products is a plus
  • Understanding of International/Domestic Equity, Futures, and OTC/Derivatives
  • Be a team player, organized, and a can-do attitude!

Compensation:

  • $85,000 - $105,000
