DRP Truck & Equipment is looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Service Technician to join our team in Bridgeport, TX. This is your opportunity to work on a diverse range of heavy equipment and machinery while being part of a dedicated, hard-working crew. Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment and trucks to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Perform preventive maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
  • Complete accurate service records and maintenance documentation
  • Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential issues before they become major repairs
  • Collaborate with service team members to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a heavy equipment or diesel technician
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Own a personal set of professional hand tools
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
