The New Life Recovery & Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team as a full-time Mental Health Counselor. • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health concerns and establish tailored treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy sessions, utilizing various evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and others suited to client needs.
• Collaborate with clients in setting therapeutic goals and monitoring their progress throughout the therapeutic process, adapting techniques as necessary.
• Engage clients in teletherapy sessions, ensuring accessibility for those with transportation difficulties or who prefer remote engagement.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions and treatment plans to comply with ethical and regulatory standards.
• Participate actively in continuing professional education opportunities, workshops, and seminars to continuously hone your clinical skills and stay informed on emerging practices.

• A valid and up-to-date license (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, or Doctor of Psychology - PsyD) in the state of New Jersey.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering trust and creating a therapeutic alliance with clients.
• A compassionate and non-judgmental attitude to support clients as they navigate their mental health journeys.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities for effective caseload management and administrative tasks.

• Previous experience in a clinical setting providing therapy to adults, adolescents, and families is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technologies to facilitate virtual therapy sessions.
• Demonstrable track record of positive outcomes for clients through effective therapeutic practices.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
