Job description

Job Title: Workstream Lead – Benefits
Duration: 6-month contract with potential to convert
Location: Philadelphia PA 19103 Hybrid (onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
40 hours/week | Typical start time around 8:00 AM
 
What They''re Looking For
This team is supporting the transition of TPA clients and helping move them through new benefits and medical policy configurations. They''ll be working through client renewals one at a time while coordinating closely with an offshore team.
A large consulting firm is currently leading the work but will roll off on October 9, so these consultants will partner with them beforehand for knowledge transfer to ensure a smooth transition.
 
Day-to-Day
  • Coordinate work with offshore teams.
  • Manage project timelines and workstreams.
  • Identify items that need development/coding.
  • Coordinate and support testing efforts.
  • Keep projects moving and communicate updates with stakeholders and executive leadership.
 
Two Focus Areas
There are two similar roles:
  • Workstream Lead: More focused on project management, coordination, and driving the work across teams.
  • Policy Enablement: More hands-on with policy configurations and client-specific customizations.
Must-Haves
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Healthcare industry experience.
  • Benefits experience is highly preferred.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience working with offshore teams.
  • Strong communication skills, including working with executive leadership.
A strong Business Analyst with the right healthcare background could also be a good fit.
Nice to Have
  • HealthRules experience.
Excel Skills
Excel is a big part of this role. Candidates should be comfortable with:
  • VLOOKUPs
  • Pivot Tables
  • Formulas
There will be an Excel assessment during the interview process.
