What You Will Do:

  • Serve as a workstream lead supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) client through major technology modernization initiatives.

  • Lead and support a team focused on modernization efforts that advance dashboards, automation, data architecture, and related technology-enabled solutions.

  • Translate ambiguous client needs into structured problem solving by framing the problem, developing hypotheses, designing the workplan, and driving execution, including task planning, analysis, synthesis, and risk/issue escalation.

  • Work with client stakeholders to assess needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and help shape solutions that support operational performance.

  • Develop client-ready deliverables, presentations, and analyses that clearly communicate insights, recommendations, and progress.

  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement by planning and leading working sessions, interviews, and workshops; synthesizing inputs; and managing workstream communications with client and internal stakeholders.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support transformation efforts, coordinate priorities, and contribute to future growth opportunities tied to the portfolio of work.

  • Coach and mentor junior staff through thoughtful delegation, quality review, and actionable feedback, raising the bar on analytical rigor and client-ready communication.

  • Contribute to internal capability building, including templates, accelerators, and thought leadership, and support proposals/capture efforts as needed.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • 5+ years of experience in consulting and/or healthcare industry roles.

  • Demonstrated experience in healthcare strategy, technology, and/or transformation.

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with technology.

  • Proven ability to lead workstreams, build client-ready deliverables, and communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.

  • Proven ability to lead others.

  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (i.e. US Citizenship required).

  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%).

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience supporting federal health programs (VA strongly preferred), including working in complex stakeholder environments and navigating technology modernization efforts.

  • MBA/MHA/MPH or other relevant advanced degree.
