Job description

Seven Starling is a leading virtual provider of women's behavioral health services supporting women through reproductive life stages. Seven Starling's holistic clinical model combines specialized therapy, peer support, and medication management to effectively treat common mental health conditions including depression and anxiety, with 94% of patients seeing a clinically significant improvement in their symptoms after completing the program. Seven Starling partners with healthcare providers across the country and leading health plans including UnitedHealthCare, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Aetna to make care easily accessible and affordable.

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced PMHNP to join our growing, mission-driven organization focused on providing high quality holistic mental health care to women throughout all reproductive life stages including perinatal to perimenopause.

Our ideal candidate has at least one year of experience working with the perinatal population and some exposure to perimenopause patients. The candidate should also have at least six months of telehealth experience and is committed to having a profound impact on women's mental health as this position is designed for PMHNPs who value high-quality care and want to grow with an early stage startup.

What you'll do
  • Provide comprehensive, holistic psychiatric care to perinatal, perimenopausal, and menopausal patients through a fully remote telehealth model.
  • Practice within a care model that prioritizes clinical quality and collaboration with the client's Seven Starling therapist
  • This is a 1099 contract, expected to average up to 5-10 hours a week.
  • Conduct 60 minute intake and 20-30 minute follow ups using your clinical judgment to determine appropriate session length
  • Adapt and grow with an early-stage startup environment, contributing to evolving workflows and best practices.
Who you are
  • Active Board Certified TX (Texas) PMHNP license in good standing
  • Priority given to candidates who hold at least 3 additional state licenses in our open | coming soon markets
  • RN Compact licensure preferred No DEA required (We do not prescribe controlled substances)
  • Minimum one year experience as a PMHNP working with the perinatal population
  • 6+ months working in telehealth
  • Solid understanding of mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions and psychiatric care considerations during the perinatal and perimenopausal/menopausal period
  • Grounded in evidence based practices to inform treatment plans and guiding clinical care
  • Empathetic and intuitive listener with strong verbal and written communication
  • Adaptable and motivated to grow within an early-stage startup, contributing to evolving workflows while maintaining high quality mental health care
  • Comfort and proficiency with virtual platforms, electronic health records, and google suite, as well as an eagerness to learn new programs efficiently
