Job description

The Analyst, Healthcare Real Estate Acquisitions will focus on new acquisition underwriting, due diligence, and maximizing the value of the organization's healthcare real estate portfolio. Working under general supervision, the role seeks to achieve superior returns on real estate assets through accurate underwriting and active management and leasing while operating in a highly collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Researches investment strategies for a significant portfolio of real estate investments, usually covering more than one region or geographical market.
  • Conducts financial analysis/modeling to assess current and projected performance of property investments.
  • Supports the acquisition team in underwriting and due diligence of medical office and senior housing opportunities.
  • Possesses knowledge of current real estate market conditions for submarkets in which assets are located.
  • Regularly engage with joint venture partners to ensure Nuveen's interests and performance in investments is maximized
  • Present property activities and financial results to third party investors and Portfolio Management on a regular basis.
