Overview
Our Environmental Sector delivers comprehensive environmental solutions to meet the full project lifecycle needs of clients in renewable energy, oil & gas, transportation, and manufacturing industries. With one of the largest multimedia air and land permitting and compliance teams in the country, we support client success in manufacturing and industry, liquids delivery and processing, natural gas storage and delivery, power generation and delivery, and transportation projects.
TRC is seeking a Project Manager to join our Albuquerque, New Mexico Engineering, Construction, and Remediation team. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual and is a results-oriented leader who works with stakeholders to understand project needs and manages teams to deliver services to meet those requirements. The project manager is responsible for networking with clients to identify and define projects, developing and negotiating proposals, building teams of technical staff and sub-consultants to execute work, maintaining quality and risk management processes to keep work on track, and delivering according to scope, schedule, and budget.
Responsibilities
  • Management of environmental compliance assessments, remediation projects, environmental assessments, report preparation, feasibility studies, task management, and subcontractor oversight.
  • Understanding of chemicals of concern in environmental remediation.
  • Review and prepare proposals and statement of qualifications.
  • Work to cross-sell TRC services and increase business from existing accounts.
  • Creates and executes project work plans and staffing plans.
  • Manages project risk by understanding and following risk management procedures.
  • Proficient implementation of TRC's Health & Safety Program and Quality Management Plan.

Qualifications
  • 15 to 25 years of experience with an environmental consulting/engineering firm that has project experience in environmental compliance, environmental investigations, remediation, due diligence, and other environmental matters.
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in environmental sciences, geology, engineering, or related field of study from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated success in project management and client management.
  • Working knowledge of environmental regulations (RCRA, NPDES, CERCLA, etc.) and state regulatory agencies (NMED, NMOCD, CDPHE).
  • Ability to interface well with and develop a positive relationship with our clients and employees.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

40-hour HAZWOPER health and safety training certificate.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
