Medical Informatics Analyst
A Medical Informatics Analyst plays a crucial role on the Medical Informatics team by providing dedicated analytical support for DaVita's clinical Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives. The analyst will be responsible for the daily monitoring of clinical user feedback on AI tools, ensuring prompt follow-up and resolution to optimize performance and user satisfaction. This role is also central to maintaining the integrity of our AI models through the systematic collection of clinical ground truth data and the execution of rigorous quality assurance protocols.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provides daily monitoring, analytical support, and follow-up for clinical user AI feedback across all clinical AI projects.
  • Responsible for the collection of clinical ground truth data from clinicians to be used in AI model development and validation.
  • Develops and executes ongoing quality assurance protocols for clinical AI solutions.
  • Partners with developers and clinical teammates to promote data governance, management, and security of our data.
  • Troubleshoots and researches issues within the reporting environment to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Performs ad-hoc analysis and data mining to support various departmental needs.
  • Other Duties as Assigned

Education and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or an equivalent in a related field is required.
  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in requirements analysis or as a clinical analyst is preferred.
  • Experience with healthcare information systems and an understanding of clinical user experience is preferred.
  • Experience in Tableau, Python, SQL, and Excel is preferred.

Travel & Time Requirements:
  • Hybrid work environment
  • Travel up to 25% of the time
