A Healthcare Implementation job involves managing the deployment of healthcare software, systems, or processes within medical organizations. Professionals in this role work with healthcare providers to ensure a smooth transition to new technologies, train staff, and troubleshoot issues. They coordinate between technical teams and end-users to optimize workflows and improve patient care. Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential in this role.
Common challenges in a Healthcare Implementation role include managing project timelines in fast-paced clinical environments, ensuring smooth integration of new technology with existing workflows, and addressing resistance to change among healthcare staff. Professionals in this role often need to balance multiple priorities, troubleshoot unexpected issues, and clearly communicate complex information to non-technical stakeholders. Success relies on careful planning, flexibility, and ongoing collaboration with both technical teams and healthcare providers. These challenges make the role dynamic and rewarding, as you directly contribute to better healthcare outcomes.
To thrive in Healthcare Implementation, you need strong project management abilities, familiarity with healthcare systems, and a background in health informatics or a related field. Experience with electronic health records (EHRs), healthcare IT platforms, and common project management tools like Jira or MS Project is often required and certifications such as PMP or Epic certification are valuable. Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt quickly help professionals coordinate between technical teams and clinical staff. These skills and qualities are crucial to ensure the seamless adoption of new healthcare technologies, minimize disruptions, and support efficient healthcare delivery.

Our Approach to Flexible Work
With Flex Work, we're combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
