Job Title: HR Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Mclean, VA (hybrid)
About the role: We are seeking an HR Manager to join our McLean, VA office. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of progressive HR experience and a background in a tech startup or high-growth environment. This role sits within a small, collaborative HR team and will own a meaningful mix of HR operations, talent acquisition, and office support - with real opportunity to build, improve, and grow alongside the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources (50%):
  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Manage employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution
  • Implement HR initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with the company's goals

Recruiting (40%):
  • Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions
  • Utilize creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent in the tech industry

Office Management (10%):
  • Coordinate office maintenance, supplies, and logistics to ensure a productive work environment
  • Assist with organizing company-wide events and employee celebrations
  • Support facilities management to maintain office operations smoothly

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience, ideally within a tech startup
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices
