Job description

Equipment Services Manager

Company:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Equipment Services Manager(Level K) to support the Equipment Services team based in Auburn, Washingtonon 3rd shift.

As a Leadership team member, you will continuously lead and develop Equipment Services Teams. A successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will enable our business unit to embrace and elevate a One BPS culture, driving a deep understanding of the One BPS principles, standards, production health and problem-solving model.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing activities in multiple equipment maintenance disciplines

  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies

  • Acquires resources, provides technical management of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and leads process improvementsas needed

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees

Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment:To be considered for this position you will be required tocomplete an assessment as part of the selection process.Failure to complete the assessment willremove you from consideration

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience working in an aerospace, metal or composite fabrication, or a manufacturing environment where equipment maintenance activities are performed

  • 3+ years of experience working within a cross-functional organizational environment

  • 1+ years in a maintenance role, leading teams in aircraft maintenance or complex manufacturing equipment maintenance activities including familiarity with equipment reliability concepts and how to apply those tools to improve equipment performance

  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader,tempmanager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership."

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience);

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 1+ years of experience using Equipment Reliability Concepts and/or Boeing Production System (BPS)

  • 1+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and all levels of leadership
