Remote IT Crisis Exercise & Simulation Coordinator
Monday - Friday
8-5PM
What You'll Do
The IT Crisis Exercise & Simulation Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and executing realistic, scenario-based exercises that test and strengthen the organization's readiness to respond to major IT disruptions. Reporting to the Manager of IT Crisis Preparedness & Service Continuity, this role partners with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to simulate high-impact crisis scenarios such as ransomware attacks, network outages, and global conflicts. Through these exercises, the specialist helps identify gaps, reinforce roles and responsibilities, and build confidence in the organization's response capabilities.
What We're Looking For
  • Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and military experience. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  • Experience: 3 years Experience in business continuity, IT crisis planning, or emergency preparedness, ideally within a healthcare or mission-critical environment, required.
  • Additional Skills (required):
    • Experience designing and facilitating tabletop or functional exercises, especially for cross-functional or executive audiences.
    • Strong project management, facilitation, and communication skills.
    • Knowledge of healthcare operations and IT service dependencies (e.g., EHR systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity).
    • Familiarity with relevant frameworks (e.g., FEMA HSEEP, ITIL, NIST, or ISO 22301) is a plus.
