Primary Purpose:
The teacher will provide students with appropriate learning activities to expose them to the most basic fundamentals of computer science and digital technology, supporting the STEM endorsement. The teacher will enable students to develop competencies and skills that will allow the students to learn, grow and pursue interests in STEM.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree from accredited university
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned (Technology Applications)
Demonstrated competency in the academic subject area assigned
Special Knowledge/Skills:
General knowledge of technology applications TEKS
General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
At least one year student teaching or approved internship
Salary: Teacher/10 Months
