How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Health Information Management: Receive, analyze, process, and file health information, ensuring completeness, timeliness, and accuracy.
  • Auditing and Quality Control: Audit the accuracy of electronic and manual data entry and promptly facilitate the resolution of any discrepancies.
  • Release of Information (ROI): Process requests for the release of health information in strict accordance with regulatory requirements, notifying physicians and other appropriate parties when applicable.
  • General Clerical Support: Perform clerical and technical duties that support the coding processes.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Education: 

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
