Job description

Senior Business Analyst – Workers Compensation

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with Workers Compensation knowledge and experience with 5+ years insurance experience. The role bridges the gap between IT and insurance operations, analyzing, designing, and implementing technical solutions for policy, claims, and underwriting systems. Must have deep knowledge of US workers' comp regulations, 5+ years of insurance experience, and skills in requirement gathering, SQL, and agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Analysis: Evaluate business needs to create, test, and implement technical solutions.
  • Project Leadership: Manage the full project lifecycle, including defining scope and managing risks.
  • Documentation: Create detailed requirements, functional specifications, and data flow analyses.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with various departments to ensure IT systems align with business goals.
  • Tools Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel) and data visualization tools.
Qualifications & Compensation
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or technology required; master’s preferred.
  • Experience: 3–5+ years in a business analyst role, with 5+ years in Insurance Software Domain.
  • Experience and knowledge of US workers' comp regulations.

Compensation range: $84,400 - $156,800. Full‑time hires eligible for DXC benefit program including health, dental, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, retirement plan, paid holidays, and paid time off.
