Ignite Mental Health Services is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Remote Mental Health Counselor to join our compassionate and growing team. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from a location that suits your lifestyle while maintaining a professional work-life balance. You will be part of an outpatient office structure where collaboration occurs virtually with other professionals in the field. Our work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing structure while also allowing for flexibility in your daily schedule.

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day functions will include:

• Performing initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to identify the needs of clients and their families.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that address specific issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
• Providing virtual counseling sessions through telehealth platforms and utilizing various therapeutic techniques like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy.
• Documenting patient medical and psychological histories, physical assessment results, diagnoses, and treatment outcomes in compliance with state regulations.
• Facilitating workshops and group therapy sessions aimed at educating clients on coping strategies and mental wellness.
• Collaborating closely with a network of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic support and resource access for clients and their families.

In this role, you will serve a varied clientele, including individuals, couples, and families dealing with a range of mental health issues such as emotional distress, trauma, domestic violence, and substance abuse. A strong emphasis will be placed on understanding and navigating the unique psychosocial stressors that affect our clients' well-being. Your work will directly contribute to improving individual and community mental health outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is essential.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Knowledge of mental health treatment modalities and experiences in clinical settings.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with clients virtually.

While previous experience in a remote counseling setting is a plus, we also welcome applicants who are passionate about integrating technology into their practice and who are eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment. Experience working with diverse populations and varied socio-economic backgrounds will be highly regarded.
