Job description

The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), is seeking qualified candidates for the position of HRIS Manager (Medical Records) at Georgia Regional Hospital - Atlanta, located in Decatur, GA.

Salary $64,472.77  -  Job Grade K

Job Description:

The medical records manager oversees the medical record department by ensuring the security and accuracy of the electronic health records (EHRs) and paper files while maintaining compliance with healthcare laws; and leading a team of health information staff.

       Assures that the daily operations/management of the HRIS runs efficiently and effectively

       Assures that all HRIS processes are correctly executed

       Assures the accuracy and time code assignments for billing and claims are submitted

       Responsible for security and confidentiality of all health information, records and documents.

       Attention to detail Organization skills Problem solving, communication and leadership skills.
