Job description

The Lead Strategic Partnership Data Analyst turns data into clear, actionable insights that support National Accounts. You will identify what is driving performance and influence decisions with fact-based recommendations. You will also create advanced data visualization and executive-ready presentations, translating complex findings into clear stories and dashboards for leadership audiences. This role partners closely with account executives, data engineers and finance, so the ability to communicate credibly at both technical and business levels is essential for success. You will report to the Senior Manager, Data Analytics.
In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one either Madison, WI 53783 or Boston, MA 02110

Position Compensation Range:

$111,000.00 - $189,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities

  • You will conduct accurate and timely business analysis and reporting to support and drive business decisions using statistical modeling and other business analysis tools.
  • You will collaborate with key stakeholders to define key financial and operational metrics to continuously monitor, track, and report performance.
  • You will collaborate with business partners in the development and delivery of key performance analysis and reporting.
  • You will build and maintain models used to project business results; enhances the model where there is business value in adjusting the models.
  • You will ensure analysis and reporting accuracy and integrity and explains performance drivers and provides insights into performance trends.
  • You will analyze and address data quality issues, tests and analyzes impact of system changes to data/reporting infrastructure.
  • You will develop, test, and deploy automated reporting solutions and automated decision analytics to replace manual business processes.
  • You may be requested to complete other assignments or participate in projects based upon skills, achievements, or experience.


Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

  • Big Querry/SQL script writing experience required
  • Insurance product and pricing domain knowledge
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of forecasting techniques or statistical analysis.
  • Demonstrated strong experience utilizing data tools such as R and Python to build complex formulas and create reports.
  • Data visualization experience with BI tools such as Tableau
  • Knowledge of a variety of standard reporting software packages and best practices for report deployment processes.
  • Demonstrated experience developing data sets.
  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10%.

  • Comfort efficiently working through ambiguity to produce reliable, analysis-ready outputs.
  • Experience using statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and AI-enabled tools
