Duties and Responsibilities

The Program Manager provides critical day-to-day support to the PIof a grant and comprehensive knowledge and application ofinstitutional policies and procedures in relation to the grantproject; works closely with the PI to ensure effective managementof essential grant activities (e.g., meeting timelines, completionof forms, completion of reports); provides complex calendarmanagement by reviewing and assessing short-term and long-termpriorities for the project; and coordinates internal and externalmeetings The manager ensures timely preparation for meetings andevents by collecting and compiling required information andmaterials; performs and track follow-up tasks from meetings andengagements, to include drafting letters, acknowledgments andfollow-up correspondence; coordinates materials and informationflow, and tracks correspondence with various stakeholders (e.g.,partnership schools, community representatives, consultants).Serves as a primary point of contact and intermediary between thePI and various internal and external constituencies and ensures ahigh level of efficiency in the operation of the grant project. Themanager agrees to accept other duties and responsibilitiescommensurate with the position that are not scripted in theannouncement.

Minimum Qualifications

Education The candidate must have a masterโ€™s degree in businessadministration, Information Technology, Educational Leadership, orOrganizational Psychology with extensive knowledge of working withgovernment grants.

Experience Grant writing and experience with compliance required tosuccessfully meet the conditions of a government awarded grant arealso desirable.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities Must have comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word,Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and various computer programs asneeded. Must have 3-5 years of experience.
